Common Gender is a recently released Bangladeshi Film in year 2010. Its The Story About A Special Part Of  Mankind , The hermaphrodite People .

The People with common gender , their lifestyle , happiness , love ,  and of course the  oppressive story that  how they  were Deported from their family and society , that the story of common gender is all about . 

The Film was started and running its fast phase with a very much funny mood . There were few interesting characters , of course they are   Deported hermaphrodite People . They enjoy their life in their own way . They are  fun loving and straight forward .

Shushomoy who was deported from his family at his teenage age , is popularly known as shushmita in her community. He became she and takes her  special life easily as others do . Her life was going fine with her new family where she got a mom like aunt , few sister like friends and a gay friend who loves her a lot .

They have so many problems in their life like as i said they were deported from their family , People hate them and take them as the curse  of society , they have no opportunity to be educated and even to get a job . Still they try to be happy and shushmita was happy in her own way .

One day she met a drunk guy named Sanjay . Sanjay is well educated and broad minded . He fall in love with sushmita . Sushmita suddenly look changed . She started to behave like a decent girl who is seriously in love with her man  . But will this odd love story be accepted by Sanjay’s family and Society ? . Obviously not , so This sudden and unexpected love story turned out as a tragic story and made a  heartbreaking climax .

Sushmita committed suicide .

There were another few stories beside that . How babu , later known as bubli hasn’t allowed to meet her mom . How she badly missed her mom but cant help herself only because she is the biggest threat for the social status of  her family .

Director Noman Robin was very smart to tell the story . He perfectly narrated the story so that audience can easily understand . Its a highly dramatic story which is presented  in a simple way .

Noman Robin is the man who deserves maximum credits . No doubt it was a highly risky project but he smartly handled everything . He is absolutely brilliant as a directer .

Hats off and hearty welcome to this new movie maker in bangladeshi film industry . He deserves 10 on 10 as a director .

All of the actors who played as the persons with common gender  were so natural . Its very hard to believe that they all are men in real life . Popular Theater Artists like Saju Khadem , Shohel Khan and many more played their role so convincingly .

dialogues play as the key-element of this film . You cant help but instantly feel the environment whenever the dialougues reach to your ears  .

Jahed Nannu’s Cinematography is too good . Not very classy but it suits perfectly with the concept of the film .

Balam And Arefin Rumi’s Music is also very good .

Mahadi’s Editing is fine .

Md. Hussain Babul’s Make up is fantastic .

Beautiful Locations And A Super Hot item song are two big bonus elements .

Overall , Common Gender is a fantastic Film . Everything is so perfect in this film except few over dramatic scenes and a very much ordinary ending . Ending could have been better .

Its A film for everyone . Its entertaining at the same time very much meaningful . Its a critically acclaimed as well as commercially successful .

You must be laughing crazily at the 1st half and the last half will make you cry that’s for sure .
